We work with trusted institutions to source the data behind our tools. Every document comes from a named, credible institution – the primary text itself, not a summary of it or a claim that it exists. Our coverage is global, and updated regularly by our data partners.

We turn dense, inconsistent documents into structured data that can be searched and compared, across languages and formats.

The concepts we search against are researched and agreed with multiple external experts and users. This means we build what the field actually needs, not what we assume it does. We then train small, bespoke AI models to identify and classify those concepts at speed, under human review at every step. The result: you find the exact evidence you need in seconds, from millions of pages.

Alongside our own tools and data, we are working on the harder problems that sit between organisations: the methods, the governance, and the shared infrastructure that would let the whole field research, build, and decide better, on data no one has to own alone, for the benefit of all.

Transition Digital

Answering a single climate question often means combining data from several organisations at once, and today there is no reliable way to do it: definitions diverge, the same country is named three ways, and the reconciliation is manual and rarely reproducible. We co-founded Transition Digital to work on this, set out the case in a published field strategy, and built a first prototype to test what a shared, traceable data layer could do. We are now looking for partners and funders to build it properly.
